PC SERIES INTERFACE CABLES

The PC series scale can be interfaced to different Detecto printers as well as to a host computer.

The following table lists the model numbers of the printers supported and the cable required to

connect to them or to a host computer.

NOTE: Using Visual Print,

serial printers from other manufacturers may be used with the PC series

scale. Some printers

may

work using one of the above listed standard cables, others

may

require a

custom built cable. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to insure that the custom built cable

is correctly wired. Refer to the printer manufacturer’s owner’s manual and the following illustration

to determine the correct cable configuration.
